Telford branch is a relatively new branch, having been formed in the 1980's. It's members not only come from Telford (Shropshire) and
surrounding areas, but as far as Devon & Cornwall, such are the friendships which have been built up over the years within the ROC.
We are quite an enthusiastic and active branch with members regularly attending events throughout the country and even abroad.
Not only do our members enjoy the social side but are involved in organisation of events both locally, nationally and internationally.
Not all our members are current Reliant owners, however the membership possess a wide selection of Reliant vehicles from the more common Robin and Rialtos to the rarer early Regals and more modern Fox
Campervan.
Telford branch is run with the help of some of its members by a small group of dedicated volunteers:
Branch President is John Smith of Willenhall (West Midlands) Reliant
Centre. John and his team are able to offer service, sales and repair and have a good selection of used Reliants in stock.
Branch Chairman is 35 year old Kerry Croxton. Kerry has been driving
Reliants for 18 years and has owned a total of 13 Reliants over that time. Kerry's current fleet includes a 1965 Regal 3/25, 1965 Rebel saloon and 1985 Tandy Fox Campervan. Kerry is a real enthusiast and does his
best to promote the virtues of Reliants. Keen to see Reliants used to their full potential, Kerry has driven his Rialto 2 van from Lands End to John O'Groats, and spent two weeks touring the West Country in his Fox
Camper. A Rialto 2 van is his everyday transport, with Rebel and Regal available for rallies, and the Fox camper for touring holidays.
Vice chairman is Paul Kennie
an enthusiastic rally-goer, Paul together with partner Marie and their children spent two weeks touring Scotland in a Rialto van. Paul is also responsible for editing the twice yearly branch issue of Top Gear, the magazine of the Reliant Owners' Club.
